The Movies iPhone app from Flixster, formerly named GoMovies, is an exceptional app for movie lovers.  Using the Movies app you can browse through tons of information from dvd releases, theatre showtimes, trailers, photos, reviews and ratings.  With a wealth of content provided by Rotten Tomatoes, this iPhone app has quickly become a favorite among movie lovers.

The interface is easy to navigate, quickly allowing you access box office hits, theatres near you, DVD release dates and your favorites list.  When viewing information on a movie you’re generally offered both critic and user ratings, trailers, photos and links to the iTunes store, local showtimes and more.

The Pros: An enormous amount of information and convienence, info and trailers are amazing, local theatre showtimes are incredible and did I mention this app is free?

The Cons: Mobile ads can sometimes hinder navigation and only english movie titles are shown.
