London, 22 October 2013 – AppMachine, the Dutch start-up behind the first truly accessible platform that allows users to create professional native apps without any prior programming knowledge, is releasing its new ‘Wordpress for App making’ Service today – a pro-software version which allows developers to integrate external data and to program application modules to their own specifications.
The company, which officially only launched four months ago, but already has over 47,000 active users of its software solutions, is unveiling its brand new developer version at Apps World in London this week, which will enable developers to code their own building blocks, import external data and create their own designs, right down to the last pixel.
Who are AppMachine?
AppMachine, which has been developing its software for over two years in ‘stealth mode’, empowers people to create professional native apps for iOS and Android smartphones, without the need of coding skills. It now has three software solutions in its portfolio.
“Until now, having your own app was considered too expensive for small and medium-sized enterprises, with build prices starting at £5,000. With AppMachine, making a professional app is now at everyone’s fingertips, starting at just £349,” explains Siebrand Dijkstra, AppMachine’s CEO. “Whether its for SMEs, marketing agencies, internet bureaus, app developers or individuals: AppMachine offers the right solution for every user.”
Developer: import own data and design screens
The new Developer version follows in the footstep of its two existing product solutions – the ‘Gorgeous’ version, a drag and drop option which allows users to create their own apps from a selection of design templates, and the ‘Designer’ version, a slightly more sophisticated version which gives users pixel-by-pixel control over the app’s aesthetics.
