AppMachine builds a high quality app for the world’s top DJ
Heerenveen, March 31st, 2013 – Armin van Buuren recently launched an app built with the software of Dutch startup AppMachine. Armin van Buuren was recently recognized as the world’s best DJ for the fifth time, according to a 2012 poll by DJ Mag. The app was launched on March 30th during ASOT 600 at the Madison Square Garden in New York City. Following the successful app launches for DJs Markus Schulz and Ferry Corsten, AppMachine has proved once again that it is up to the task of furnishing the world’s top DJs with state of the art apps.
The Armin van Buuren app features music, photos, videos, tour dates, and everything else you might want to know about this DJ. Users will also be able to listen to Armin’s weekly podcast radioshow, A State Of Trance, and will be able to purchase his albums and singles straight from the app. Videos from Armin’s YouTube channel will also be available in the app. One of the most exciting features of that app is that users will be able to get a sneak peek of Armin’s upcoming album Intense which is expected to be released in early May. Under the Connect menu item, users will be able to check Armin’s social media profiles to stay up to date with his latest updates and interact with him personally via Facebook, Twitter and Google+. Links to his Spotify and Soundcloud accounts allows users to listen to freshly released tracks and DJ sets. And to think that this was all made possible using AppMachine’s building blocks.
The Armin van Buuren app was built entirely on AppMachine’s app building platform which requires no programming experience to create and publish amazing apps. The app is free to download for iOS and Android in the Apple App Store and the Google Play store. The app was built in the style of Armin’s website www.arminvanbuuren.com.
AppMachine is an online platform for creating iOS and Android apps quickly. AppMachine gave its first official presentation at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Building an AppMachine app requires no prior programming or design experience. AppMachine strives to level the app-making playing field and allow more companies to add apps to their communication strategies. It only takes a few hours to design, test and publish a native app. Structure the app using function-specific building blocks and give the app a unique design with one of our beautiful skins or submit design styles yourself. Test the app live on your own smartphone and publish your app in the App Store and Google Play. The AppMachine platform is available in three flavors: Gorgeous, Designer, and Developer. Each has its own range of options and pricing structure. The Gorgeous version costs €399 ($499), the Designer version costs €699 ($899), and the Developer version costs €1.499 ($1899). Users only pay for apps that they choose to publish to the app stores.
