Sneak preview Developer-versie AppMachine tijdens The Next Web Conference 2013 in Amsterdam

April 24, 2013

Amsterdam, Heerenveen, April 23rd, 2013 – AppMachine will be lifting the veil of its Developer features of the AppMachine platform during The Next Web Conference in Amsterdam on the 25th and 26th of April.

AppMachine is a new, innovative online platform that everyone, even those with little-to-no programming experience, can use to develop native iOS and Android app. The AppMachine platform will significantly reduce the time and costs it currently takes to build apps. The platform was launched at the end of February 2013 and is already serving over 20,000 beta testers in over 100 countries.

AppMachine apps are available in three flavors: Gorgeous, Designer, and Developer. The latter offers all the features available in the Gorgeous and Designer versions but rises far above these two in terms of more technical applications. When building a Developer app it is possible to define an internal database in the app on the basis of Excel sheets or external web services. Data pulled from these web services can be kept up to date automatically. AppMachine has extended its capabilities by including a screen designer where users can drag-and-drop elements to make their own design of the screen. Furthermore, it is now possible to add custom functions to your app on the basis of JavaScript and HTML.

Siebrand Dijkstra, founder and CEO of AppMachine, will be presenting his master class, “Create your own native mobile app in one hour,” at The Next Web Conference. Dijkstra will demonstrate how everyone, regardless of their programming experience, can build in app in an hour’s time. He will also be presenting a sneak peek of the Developer version of AppMachine.

The Next Web Conference’s app was also built with the AppMachine platform. AppMachine will also be present in the Business Area where visitors can come by to build their own apps and ask questions to members of the AppMachine team.

The Next Web Conference will be at the Gashouder in Amsterdam, April 25 and 26, 2013.
