How do you get the most out of data? The Esri GIS Conference shows the latest technology in data analysis. AppMachine joins the conference and introduces a news innovative building block. Esri Netherlands made the app for the GIS Conference with AppMachine.
The Esri GIS conference is the largest yearly GIS event in the Netherlands. GIS means Geographic Information Systems, a technology to generate, visualize, edit and analyze data, which uses geodatabase management. Conference organizer Esri has a leading global market share in Geographic Information System and delivers, amongst others, data in clearly visualized maps. One of the most well known and widely used applications is the map with speed cameras Esri made in the Netherlands in cooperation with national radiostation BNR.
You can find AppMachine during the conference in the Start up & Developers area. On Wednesday 17th September AppMachine will introduce an innovative new building block for Esri users which has been developed with Esri: the Esri Maps block. With this new feature, app users will be able to login with their Esri account and add Esri maps to their mobile app. They will have their maps always available and easily accessible on their smartphones.
An organizer who links modern technology to data, cannot do without a modern conference app. The app, made with AppMachine, offers all information at a glance: program, exhibitors, and a map including useful points of interests in the area.
Each year, more than 1500 attendees visit the conference. This year’s edition, with ‘The World in motion’ as theme will take place on Wednesday the 17th and Thursday the 18th of September in the WTC in Rotterdam.
