AppMachine is now officially live! After a three-month beta phase among 24,000 testers, anyone can now build their own mobile web apps and publish them in the app stores.
With the launch of AppMachine on Wednesday 12 June, for the first time an accessible platform becomes available allowing users to build professional native apps for both iOS and Android.
The great thing is that you don’t need any programming skills to build your own mobile app. AppMachine has already taken care of the coding. In fact, the past 2.5 years has seen 18 developers invest more than 100,000 hours in this. And after three months of testing by 24,000 testers, we are now at a stage where we can make the software openly accessible to everyone. And the tens of thousands of apps developed during the beta phase can now be published through the Apple app store and Google Play. The publication screen now features the ‘Publish’ option, so a simple press of a button is all that’s needed to publish your app. Once you have paid, your app will be available in the Apple App Store and Google Play within 8 to 10 working days.
Would you also like to publish your app? Then visit our website, make sure all the building blocks contain the right content and round off the design according to your personal preferences. Do you need help with the design? No problem. You can hire a Pro to give your app the perfect look and feel.
AppMachine lets you build your own native apps, which may vary in complexity and capabilities. Would you like to create a simple web app for a one-off event? Then you’ll be ready in a few clicks. Are you interested in a more advanced app? No problem: designers and developers wanting full control over their app will have all the features they need at their fingertips.
Incidentally, building a mobile web app with AppMachine is free. You only pay when you publish your app via the app stores. In other words, you can build a fully functional app and show it to your customers or colleagues. All apps are 100% native. This means they run on the iOS and Android mobile operating systems. Native apps are quicker and more user-friendly than HTML5 apps and mobile websites.
Once your app has been published in the app stores, AppMachine will help you promote it. A special promotional site is available for your app, and we will give you a QR code that lets anyone download your app with ease. Read more on the promotion of your app here.
