AppMachine set to go live on Wednesday

AppMachine News Jerry Lieveld 11 Jun 2013

AppMachine will officially go live on Wednesday, June 12. Following a three-month beta phase in which 24,000 testers participated, now everybody will be able to create their own app and publish it in the app stores from Wednesday next.

The launch of AppMachine will usher in a new era in mobile application development. For the first time an accessible platform becomes available that allows users to create professional native apps for both iOS and Android. However, more importantly, no programming skills are required to build your own mobile web app. AppMachine has already taken care of the coding. In fact, the past 2.5 years has seen 18 programmers invest more than 100,000 hours in this. Finally, after three months of testing by 24,000 testers, we are now at a stage where we can make the software freely accessible to everybody. As of Wednesday, the tens of thousands of apps that were created during the beta phase can be published via the app stores.

AppMachine’s official launch will take place during MARCOM13, the specialist event for marketing and communication professionals. This convention is organized by Adformatie magazine and will be held on Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13, June in the RAI congress center in Amsterdam.

From Wednesday onwards, all app builders will be able to publish their apps via Apple’s app store and Google Play with just a simple press of a button. Once you have paid, your app will be made available in the Google Play store within 24 hours time. Apple uses a review period of 8 to 10 workdays.
